EVENTS
At TMI, every student’s journey is marked by moments where they are cherished, known and challenged. From their first day on campus to the culminating experiences of their Senior year, a TMI student is surrounded by a community that nurtures them.
This journey doesn’t happen by chance. TMI was built on the generosity of parents, faculty, friends, and alumni like you. Our school would be a very different, far lesser place without this strong foundation. By making a gift to the TMI Fund, you are honoring the gifts you received as a student and paying them forward for the next generation of TMI students.
Your gift ensures that every student benefits from the exceptional programs, dedicated teachers, and enriched learning experiences that make TMI an outstanding and unique place – one that celebrates achievement, innovation, and prepares them for a world beyond.
Over the years, alumni giving has had a profound impact on the success of TMI. Your support matters. There is true power in participation, and we could not continue our work without the commitment of alumni like you.
The Alumni Giving campaign is a special time when Panthers from all over the country come together to support what they love most about TMI. The TMI Fund supports a variety of programs that enhance the TMI experience for our students, including academics, sports, the arts, and the TMI Corps of Cadets, among others.
Now is the time to be part of shaping TMI’s future by making a gift today! Simply click the button below.
Rising Alumni Luncheon Success
On Tuesday, April 15, the TMI Alumni Association proudly hosted its fourth annual Rising Alumni Luncheon, a heartfelt tradition honoring the Class of 2025. The purpose of the event was to officially welcome TMI’s Class of 2025 into the Alumni Association and celebrate their transition from students to lifelong members of the Panther community.
Held on campus, the luncheon brought together Seniors and alumni for an afternoon of shared stories, mentorship, and connection. Seated together, students and alumni exchanged memories and reflected on the common bonds that unite all Panthers.
A memorable highlight of the event was the presentation of alumni lapel pins, symbolizing each student’s achievement and their lifelong membership as a Forever Panther. In a thoughtful gesture, Gina Hughes surprised the attendees with custom gifts—TMI twillie scarves for the young women and TMI socks for the young men.
During the event, Heather Finerghty, Associate Director of Alumni and Family Engagement, presented Chance Walker ’25 with a special keepsake box, recognizing his leadership and service as the Class of 2025 Class Agent.
The Alumni Association extends sincere thanks to Richard Aguilar ’75, who graciously served as Chair and emcee for the luncheon. We are also deeply grateful to the alumni who joined us as table hosts and shared their time and wisdom with our seniors: Adam Reed ’03, Alexis Elliott-Stabler ’06, Beatrice “Nan” Burley Richie ’77, David Pavelka ’88, Greg Striker ’90, Sonali Patel ’11, Cori Kurth ’93, Cody Fuentes ’06, Susie Murguia ’82, Joseph Murguia ’89, Ryan Kohnen ’98, Chris Adams ’99, and Sonali Patel ’11.
The Rising Alumni Luncheon remains a cherished event at TMI, celebrating the enduring connection between generations of Panthers and the legacy of our vibrant alumni community.

The stars aligned on Saturday, April 5, 2025 as 450 guests gathered to celebrate community and philanthropy at the 30th annual Stars Over TMI gala and auction. Together, our TMI community raised over $500,000 for TMI.
Over $340,000 of the proceeds from Stars Over TMI, our school’s largest fundraising event, will benefit our annual giving program that supports academics and student activities, professional development, technology, safety & security, campus beautification, classroom improvements, and more. Thank you to all of our sponsors, underwriters, supporters, and volunteers of the gala and auction for your incredible generosity.
Our heartfelt thanks goes out to everyone who supported our Fund-a-Need auction, as $200,800 of the total amount raised during Stars Over TMI will be used toward our athletic capital campaign that includes updating the scoreboards at our baseball, softball and multi-purpose fields. We especially want to recognize the generosity of TMI Grandparents Maggie & Gary Klenzing, TMI Parents Rose & John Raimondo, and TMI ParentsKatherine & Ryan Thompson for each contributing $50,000 toward the brand new scoreboards. A HUGE thank you to Texas Regional Bank (TRB) who has also generously donated to TMI toward a brand new scoreboard for Howell Field.
