Stars Over TMI will be an evening to celebrate all things TMI. Our passion for education and excellence, deeply rooted at TMI, combined with the celebration of 30 years of community and philanthropy through Stars Over TMI has inspired our theme for the evening: Cheers to Thirty Years!
Started in 1995, Stars has grown to be TMI’s largest and most important fundraising event that fosters community and support from families, alumni, faculty, staff, parents of alumni, grandparents, business partners, and friends of our school. The Stars After Party
Following the live auction and program, the fun will continue at our Stars after party, sponsored by CUTEK, Inc., The Murray Family, as guests enjoy live music provided by Finding Friday. Learn more about the band at www.findingfriday.com.

2025 TMI Alumni Day and Hall of Fame Ceremony
TMI is proud to announce the exceptional individuals who will be inducted into the 2025 TMI Hall of Fame and receive distinguished honors at this year’s Alumni Day celebration. The induction ceremony, to be held on April 25, 2025, on the TMI campus, will celebrate the achievements and legacies of those whose contributions have had a lasting impact on the school and community.
The 2025 Hall of Fame inductees include Judge Jim Nowlin ’55, Stephen “Tio” Kleberg ’64, Dr. Susan Mengden ’76, and Evan Walter ’93. These remarkable individuals will be honored for their outstanding accomplishments in their respective fields and for their enduring commitment to TMI and the greater community.
In addition to the Hall of Fame inductees, the school is proud to recognize two individuals with the 2025 Distinguished Servant Leadership Awards. These awards honor former faculty, staff, and friends of TMI whose service, character, and leadership have made a profound impact on others. This year’s awardees are Ben Davis (Posthumously) and Robert Lee Moore Hilliard (Posthumously). The legacy of these honorees continues to inspire those who follow in their footsteps, and their contributions will be celebrated at the ceremony.
The inaugural Outstanding Young Alumni Awards will also be presented this year, recognizing the achievements of alumni 40 years of age or younger who have demonstrated exceptional leadership, success, and service in their professional and personal lives. The inaugural award recipients are Susie Cabrera McKinlay ’06, Michael “Jimmy” LeJune ’19, and Clint Muhlenberg ’05. These young alumni exemplify the values of TMI and are poised to continue making an impact in their communities and beyond.
The 2025 Hall of Fame induction ceremony will take place as part of Alumni Day, which includes the Alumni Reunion and Welcome Back Reception. This annual event brings together alumni from across the generations to reconnect, celebrate, and honor the TMI legacy.
We look forward to celebrating the achievements of these distinguished individuals and welcoming the TMI community to a memorable event on April 25, 2025.

ALUMNI NEWS

As we continue to foster an environment of creativity, innovation, and entrepreneurial spirit at TMI, we are reaching out to invite alumni to engage with our current students. We know that many of you have made significant strides in the fields of Business Entrepreneurship and Innovation and Design, and we believe your insights could make a lasting impact on the future of our community.
We are actively seeking alumni who are business entrepreneurs, innovators, and professionals in design technology to speak to our students about their journeys, successes, challenges, and the future of their industries. Whether you’ve launched your own company, pioneered groundbreaking products, or are at the forefront of new technological advancements, your experience could inspire the next generation of TMI leaders. Speakers will present in the classroom to approximately 15-30 students.
If you’re ready to share your journey and knowledge, we’d love to hear from you! Please reach out to Heather Finerghty, Associate Director of Alumni and Family Engagement at h.finerghty@tmi-sa.org to express your interest or to learn more about how you can get involved.
